Barcelona coach Hansi Flick confirmed that key midfielder Pedri has a good chance of returning to action after suffering a leg muscle injury last month when the reigning LaLiga champions host Deportivo Alaves at Camp Nou on Saturday (29/11).
"Pedri will play a few minutes, but not from the start. If possible, he'll come on in the second half. We'll see," Flick said, as quoted on the club's official website on Friday.
However, the German coach also confirmed that center-back Ronald Araujo is absent due to a stomach virus.
"He has a stomach virus, so he can't play today or tomorrow," said Flick.
