Hardy Rachmadian is optimistic about retaining his SEA Games bowling gold medal.

Indonesian bowler Hardy Rachmadian is optimistic that he can defend his SEA Games gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

"It's possible (to win two gold medals - ed.). Personally, I'll definitely defend my men's doubles gold medal. After all, I've won gold at two consecutive SEA Games," Hardy told ANTARA at the national bowling team's training camp at the Jaya Ancol Bowling Club in Jakarta on Thursday.

The Indonesian Bowling Association (PBI) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) are targeting the national bowling team to bring home two gold medals, namely in the men's doubles and men's team 4 events.

Besides being quite confident in his own abilities, Hardy is also increasingly optimistic because he believes the current men's bowling athletes are truly the best. Besides Hardy, the men's bowling team also includes Billy Muhammad Islam, Yeri Ramadona, and Ryan Leonard Lalisang.
