Jafar/Felisha become Indonesia's fifth finalists at the 2025 Australian Open.
  Indonesian mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu became the fifth finalist representing Indonesia after defeating Thailand's Ruttanapak Oupthong/Jhenicha Sudjaipraparat 19-21, 21-13, and 21-14, in the semifinals of the 2025 Australian Open at Quaycentre, Sydney, Saturday.


Jafar/Felisha follow in the footsteps of four fellow Indonesians who have already qualified for the final, namely men's doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, as well as women's doubles Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari and Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setia Ningrum.


Jafar/Felisha started the first game tightly, coming back from 2-4 down to lead by four points at the interval.


The second-seeded Indonesians dominated the match after that, maintaining a 17-15 lead. Their opponents then equalized the score twice, 17-17 and 18-18.




Jafar/Felisha held off a match point , but failed to regain control, thus losing the opportunity to secure victory in the first game.
