Indonesian mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu broke into the world's top 10 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings for week 48, released on Tuesday. The promotion was achieved after the young national training center pair advanced to the final of the 2025 BWF World Tour Super 500 Australian Open last week.
The additional 7,800 points in Sydney brought Jafar/Felisha's total to 63,810 points and their rise to 10th in the world rankings.
They displaced Danish pair Jesper Toft and Amalie Magelund, who dropped to 11th place. This achievement also places Jafar and Felisha as the highest-ranked Indonesian mixed doubles pair at the moment.
The pair is above Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, who are ranked 15th after last appearing at the 2025 Macau Open, and far ahead of Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, who are ranked 19th.
Apart from Jafar/Felisha, the pair Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti also saw an increase in their ranking, climbing four spots to 39th in the world.
