Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson were named the NBA's Player of the Week for the 2025-2026 season.
The NBA website reported on Tuesday that Jokic, a three-time MVP, once again demonstrated his dominance in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Johnson was able to lead his team to a strong start in the Eastern Conference.
During the evaluation week, Jokic averaged 39 points per game (ppg), 13 rebounds per game (rpg), and eight assists per game (apg).
