Indonesian rider Mario Aji will start the 2025 Valencia Moto2 race from 23rd on the grid after recording the fastest time of one minute 32.678 seconds in Q1 at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Spain, on Saturday.
Quoted from the MotoGP page in Jakarta, Saturday, Mario, who strengthens the Idemitsu Honda Team Asia team, participated in the Q1 qualification after finishing in 17th place in the second free practice (FP 2), Friday (11/14).
In Q1, Mario performed satisfactorily and was able to outperform his teammate Yuki Kunii who recorded his best time of one minute 33.366 seconds.
Currently, Mario Aji is in 26th place in the 2025 Moto2 rider standings with eight points.
