The Thai esports team Buriram Esports won the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025 Jakarta.
Buriram won the Free Fire world championship title through Champion Rush with two Booyahs in the second and seventh games, with one of their players, Mariwat "Wassana" Panyawai, becoming the MVP.
"I always told my parents that I would bring home the trophy, but I always failed. And now I can tell my parents that I succeeded," said Wassana after the match at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, Saturday.
Brazilian team Fluxo secured a Booyah in the first game thanks to their careful play, disciplined rotation, and detailed observation of the enemy's direction.
Buriram Esports from Thailand won the second game, securing a Booyah. However, their 20-point total was not enough to secure the top spot in the standings, which was instead occupied by P Esports from Vietnam.
However, Buriram is in second place in the first place with 39 points while Fluxo is in second place with h37 points.
