Wolff was impressed with the performance of the Mercedes rookie who was able to take over the third podium after McLaren duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were disqualified for overloading the plate.
The 19-year-old had to start 17th due to a five-second penalty and finished the race in fifth after a fierce battle with Piastri and Charles Leclerc in the duel for fourth place.
