Perbati continues collaboration with Uzbekistan to fight for the Olympics

  The Indonesian Boxing Association (Perbati) will continue its collaboration with the Uzbekistan boxing team to strive to prepare Indonesian boxers to qualify for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, United States.

"The cooperation (of Perbati) with Uzbekistan is quite good, so we will continue it towards the 2028 Olympics," said Perbati Secretary General Hengky Silatang when contacted in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He explained that Uzbekistan is currently the benchmark for world amateur boxing. At the 2025 Paris Olympics, Uzbekistan emerged as the overall boxing champion, winning five gold medals.
