Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid confirmed her readiness to facilitate the implementation of digital marketing training to improve the capabilities of MSMEs.
He also invited MSMEs to continue developing their businesses, one of which is expanding their marketing reach by utilizing digital space.
"Digitalization is accelerating growth. We hope that women's sales can increase if they use digital platforms," Meutya said in a statement received in Medan on Sunday.
Meutya also believes that the fighting spirit of women MSMEs is the driving force that keeps the Indonesian economy resilient amidst various challenges.
In the Grand Business Capacity Development (PKU) forum themed "Strong Digital, Increasing Economy, Mekaar Mothers, Great Family Heroes" in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, he also appreciated the MSME actors who had the courage to start a business with limited capital but still fought to drive the national economy.
"MSMEs, especially micro-enterprises, are the most courageous. They don't have much money in savings, but they are willing to invest capital in businesses, turning their money around, and driving the country's economy," he said.
