As quoted in a TechCrunch broadcast on Monday (24/11), OpenAI CEO Sam Altman described the AI hardware being developed as a very simple device.
"When people see it, they'll say, 'Is that all?'... It's so simple," he said, describing people's reactions to the upcoming AI hardware being developed by OpenAI.
The AI hardware was developed by OpenAI in collaboration with former Apple chief designer Jony Ive.
OpenAI earlier this year acquired Ive's design startup io to bring AI to the masses through a kind of tech gadget.
This weekend, Altman and Ive further discussed their vision for future AI devices in an interview led by Laurene Powell Jobs at the Emerson Collective's 9th annual Demo Day in San Francisco.
