In an effort to improve device quality, OPPO introduced Apex Guard, which includes hardware innovations, software solutions, and improved after-sales support.
"Quality is the foundation of everything. Through continuous breakthroughs in quality, OPPO is committed to protecting the freedom of every user in their life journey," said OPPO Manufacturing Director Grus Shan in a company press release received in Jakarta on Saturday.
Apex Guard includes hardware innovations in the form of ultra-high-strength steel material development, AM04 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, and structural solutions such as Armour Shield to enhance the durability of OPPO phones in everyday use.
In addition, OPPO's Silicon-Carbon Battery technology, which uses spherical silicon-carbon material, can extend the battery cell life up to 400 cycles and maintain long-term battery safety.
OPPO collaborates with international testing institutions such as TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, and SGS to conduct more than 180 device tests, from the pre-research and development stage to the end of the product cycle to ensure device quality.
Software also ages as hardware ages.
The new ColorOS 16 introduces the first Unified Animation Architecture for Android to ensure app launches and transitions remain smooth even after years of use.
According to GSM Arena , OPPO conducted aging tests, simulating usage periods of 48, 60, and 72 months to six years to ensure its development efforts delivered the desired results.
