Spotify is introducing a Lossless Audio feature for users in Indonesia in an effort to improve the music listening experience of its platform's subscribers.
According to the company's press release on Saturday, the feature allows Spotify platform users to enjoy music with uncompressed sound.
With the Lossless Audio feature, platform users can listen to songs up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC and enjoy better sound details for almost all songs on Spotify.
"Spotify is bringing more relevant options to suit their needs, and listening to high-quality music with Lossless is one of them," said Spotify Southeast Asia Managing Director Gustav Back.
Lossless Audio is available on Spotify mobile , desktop , tablet, and other devices that support Spotify Connect.
This feature is available for users in Indonesia who subscribe to the Premium Platinum package.
To activate Lossless, users simply press the profile icon then select "Settings" and change the media quality to Lossless.
Users are advised to use a Wi-Fi connection, a wired device such as headphones or speakers , or a non-Bluetooth connection such as Spotify Connect to enjoy the best results.
