Persijap Jepara fired coach Mario Lemos, who was contracted for one season, after the team lost 1-2 against Semen Pandang in yesterday's Super League match.
"We thank Coach Mario for his energy and leadership during his time at Persijap Jepara. We part with great respect and wish him every success in his next journey," said Persijap Manager Nicky Amirul Ramdan Setiadi in an official statement on Friday.
Persijap also decided not to continue the duties of physical trainer Paulo.
The club appreciates the contribution and dedication of Mario Lemos and Paulo while accompanying the team in the training and player development process.
"We also express our gratitude to Coach Paulo for his dedication during his time as part of the Persijap coaching staff. We wish him a successful career," said Nicky.
