PSSI announces players for FIFA Women's National Team Matchday

  The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) on Wednesday announced the call-ups of players to strengthen the women's national team which will take part in FIFA Matchday on November 26 and 29, as quoted from the official PSSI Instagram account.


A total of 36 players have been called up by the PSSI for the two FIFA Matchday matches in November. They include four goalkeepers, ten defenders, 12 midfielders, and ten forwards.



The first match of the November FIFA Matchday women's football tournament will be a home match against Nepal on November 26, followed by a match against Taiwan three days later. Both matches will be played at Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman.


The two FIFA Matchday matches in November are part of the women's national team's preparations for the 2025 SEA Games, which will take place in December.


At the 2025 SEA Games, Garuda Pertiwi is in Group A with Thailand, Cambodia, and Singapore.


This marks the first time the women's national team has returned to compete in the SEA Games football event, after missing the 2023 and 2021 SEA Games.
