PUBG Mobile game developers have released a major update in Version 4.1, which brings a variety of winter content titled Frost Festival, a new Frosty Funland mode, as well as game improvements and interactive features.
"Available until January 5, 2026, players can enjoy the Frost Festival with a new Frosty Funland-themed mode featuring cute penguins, snowy adventures, and various seasonal surprises," according to a press release from PUBG Mobile developers received.
Frost Festival offers a winter-themed gaming experience, featuring the snowy town of Penguinville and penguin characters in the player's interactive in-game adventure.
The Frosty Funland-themed mode invites players to explore a snowy world full of surprises involving PowNin, an AI penguin companion who can be controlled using voice, text, or English commands.
Players can also glide on the Penguin Snowmobile and complete special missions in the Frosty Funland Themed Trial to earn exclusive rewards and achievements.
PUBG Mobile also introduced the Frost Festival event starting December 12, 2025.
Players can visit Wintercrest Hall in Snowy Vale to enjoy holiday tunes, gift supplies, and a New Year's Eve fireworks display.
