The IBL website, Thursday, stated that the recruitment of the basketball player coincided with the introduction of another new player, namely Leonardo Effendy.
The presence of the point guard will be the third collaboration for him and Efri, who previously strengthened Bima Perkasa Jogja (BPJ) and KBS.
He has continued the trend, following Efri's lead since 2023.
Devin first came under the guidance of the coach when they both strengthened BPJ in the 2023 season. During that period, Devin emerged as one of the driving forces of the game with an average contribution of 6.9 points per game (ppg), 3.1 rebounds per game (rpg), and 1.2 assists per game (apg) in 30 games including two playoff games .
When Efri moved to Kesatria Bengawan Solo in the 2024 season, Devin returned. Although his role shifted and he was no longer part of the starting lineup, he continued to contribute consistently, averaging 4.3 ppg, 1.8 rpg, and 1.7 apg in 27 games, including three knockout matches.
