Raymond/Joaquin advance to the semifinals of the 2025 Korea Masters

Indonesian men's doubles pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin qualified for the semifinals of the 2025 Korea Masters after defeating the host pair, Kang Min Hyuk/Ki Dong Ju, 21-14, 21-11 in the quarterfinals at the Wonkwang University Cultural and Sport Center, Iksan, Jeonbuk State, South Korea, Friday.

Raymond admitted that he played more aggressively and did not let the tournament's second seed dictate to him.

"They're senior players, so their defense can't be penetrated with a single attack. So, they're more patient with the ball overhead, looking for an attack," said Raymond Indra in a PBSI statement on Friday.

Joaquin said the key to his victory was playing more patiently because Kang Min Hyuk/Ki Dong Ju had a tight defense.

"When we had a new chance, we pressed, and we did it from the start of the game to the end," Raymond said.
