Real Madrid are reportedly planning to bring Nico Paz back in the summer of 2026.

Real Madrid is reportedly planning to bring back young Argentine midfielder Nico Paz in the 2026 summer transfer window.

This news also dashed the hopes of some Real Madrid supporters of seeing Nico Paz return as early as January 2026.

This news was revealed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, who said that Como wants to keep him until the end of the season.

???????? Real Madrid are planning to bring back Nico Páz as their first signing for 2026 as revealed months ago.

Understand the buy back clause is NOT valid in January and you want to keep him until summer.

The plan is to make the deal happen in June 2026.

The 20-year-old is enjoying a superb season with Como in Serie A. As of matchday 12, Nico Paz has registered 5 goals and 4 assists in just 12 starts, making him one of the most prolific young talents in the Italian league at the moment.

However, Real Madrid does have long-term plans for the La Fabrica graduate.

According to Romano, the Spanish capital club has made a final decision to activate the buy-back clause contained in Paz's contract when he was sold to Como in the summer of 2024.

The player himself is reportedly willing to return to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2026.

Thus, Real Madrid will likely make Nico Paz their first official signing for the 2026/27 season, signaling that the club remains serious about relying on the best talents from their academy.
