Technology company Samsung is reportedly planning to release a product in the form of glasses following the recent launch of the Galaxy XR headset.
As reported by Gsmarena on Wednesday (11/19) local time, Samsung's first XR glasses have been identified as having the model number SM-O200P.
Samsung's first XR glasses are expected to be similar to the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, and previous rumors even suggested that the Korean company would launch display-less glasses first in 2026, followed by glasses with displays in 2027.
The first glasses reportedly use Transitions lenses, which means they automatically darken when exposed to sunlight and become transparent indoors.
It is known that Transitions is a registered trademark of EssilorLuxottica, the manufacturer of Ray-Ban and many other brands.
