Samsung Galaxy XR will expand to other countries in 2026

Samsung has officially released their first XR headset, namely the Galaxy XR, which will only be sold in countries such as the United States and South Korea.

SAMMobile reported on Wednesday (November 5) that when Samsung launched the Galaxy XR, it confirmed its availability only in the US and Korea. However, SamMobile learned that more countries will join the list in 2026.

The countries in question are likely Germany, France, Canada, and the United Kingdom, so that potential consumers in various countries can also experience the sophistication of this headset.

However, this list of countries may not be final and Samsung may add more countries as production expands and more XR apps and experiences become available.

The XR headset is the first device to run Android XR, a new platform co-built by Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm, and is powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
