The 2026 DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters tournament is set to take place at Istora, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Complex, Jakarta on January 20-25, 2026.
This BWF Super 500 tournament will feature fierce competition among the world's top badminton players.
In the upcoming edition, there will be a total prize of USD 500,000 or around IDR 8.3 billion.
"It was scheduled for the Super 500 level. The players included (Anthony) Ginting and all the other players. So, we really hope that the Indonesia Masters, as the host, will be played at Istora. The team will be the best and most prepared," said Ricky Soebagja, Secretary General of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), in a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.
Ricky said that the badminton players who will compete in this tournament will be players who are ready based on the coaching team's analysis based on the athletes' performance in the last few tournaments.
Marketing Director and Corporate Communication Director of PT. Astra DAIHATSU Motor Sri Agung Handayani was impressed with the journey of cooperation between DAIHATSU and PBSI which has now reached its ninth year at the Indonesia Masters.
"We hope the 2026 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters will be a success, producing high-quality matches, and providing the best possible experience for all fans," said Sri Agung Handayani.
Next year, the 2026 Indonesia Masters will offer more evenly distributed tickets for each segment, with regular tickets ranging from Rp 50,000 to Rp 300,000. VIP tickets will range from Rp 125,000 to Rp 650,000.
