CdM is confident that water skiing and wakeboarding are ready to fight for gold in Thailand.

The Chef de Mission (CdM) of the Indonesian Contingent for the 2025 SEA Games, Bayu Priawan Djokosoetono, is confident that water skiing and wakeboarding are ready to fight for gold at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand next December.

"Indeed, there are several of Indonesia's top water skiing and wakeboarding events that will not be contested (at the 2025 SEA Games), but we are confident that we can win the four events we are competing in," Bayu Priawan Djokosoetono told the media crew while visiting the Indonesian National Water Skiing and Wakeboarding Team's training camp at Sunter Lake, North Jakarta, on Thursday.

He explained that during his visit, he had seen the intensive preparations undertaken by water ski and wakeboard athletes to be able to win as many gold medals as possible in Thailand.

The Indonesian water ski and wakeboard team will compete in four categories: slalom team, wakeboard team, wakesurf team, and cable wakeboard team.

Therefore, Bayu has high hopes for this sport to contribute gold medals in the numbers he participates in.

"Given that the training has been quite long, the discipline is also very good, the enthusiasm is also very high, the energy is also very great, it is very good to be able to deliver the best performance," he said.
