The Giuseppe Meazza Stadium is guaranteed to be full for the Milan derby

Inter Milan has confirmed that the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in San Siro, Milan, will be full when they face AC Milan in the Milan derby match, in the continuation of the 2025/2026 Italian League.

"Tickets for the match are sold out. Spectators will fill the Meazza," Inter Milan said on its official website on Friday.

Inter, who were the hosts for the match, stated that 90 percent of the tickets for the match were held by loyal supporters, including registered Inter Club and Interisti members, as well as season ticket holders.

Inter Milan said the fans at the Giuseppe Meazza, which has a capacity of more than 75,000, will be treated to several pre-match performances.

Then, fans can also watch special choreography in the north and south stands.

To anticipate the negative impact of crowds, Inter Milan opened the stadium gates three hours before the match.

The Inter Milan versus AC Milan match on Monday (24/11) early morning WIB or Sunday (23/11) evening local time received a lot of attention because, besides being a derby, the match was also a duel between two top clubs in the Italian League this season.

Inter Milan currently leads the 2025/2026 Italian League standings with 24 points from 11 matches.

They are only two points behind third-placed AC Milan with 22 points from 11 matches.

So far, the Milan derby or "derby della Madonnina" has taken place 244 times since the two teams first met in 1909.

Inter Milan dominates the derby with a record of 91 wins.

However, in the last five meetings in all competitions, Inter Milan have failed to beat AC Milan.

Inter's last match against Milan took place in April 2025, in the second leg of the 2024/2025 Coppa Italia semi-final, where Milan won convincingly with a score of 3-0 and advanced to the final after the first leg was a 1-1 draw.
