Indonesia secured the men's singles title at the 2025 Indonesia International Challenge after four home team representatives advanced to the semifinals at the Amongrogo Sports Hall in Yogyakarta on Friday.
Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo, Richie Duta Richardo, Christian Adinata, and Bismo Raya Oktora all completed their quarterfinal matches with wins to make the All Indonesian Semifinals.
Top seed Prahdiska became the deciding factor in the semi-finals, which consisted entirely of Indonesian players, after defeating Taiwanese athlete Wang Yu-Kai, 20-22, 21-18, 21-9.
"Thank God, I'm back in the semifinals. I struggled in the first game. I was leading 16-13, but I lost because I lost focus and wasn't able to handle the court conditions," Prahdiska said in a PBSI statement after the match.
He admitted he received a lot of motivation from his coach, who urged him to stay calm and not give up in the second game. After forcing a rubber, the match turned completely around.

"In the third game, my opponent started to lose tempo, and I tried to speed up the game," he said.
Prahdiska realizes that there is a certain pressure as the most senior player in Pratama and also the deciding factor in the semifinal between all Indonesian players.
"There's definitely pressure, but the coach believes in me, so I have to believe in myself too," he said.
Meanwhile, Richie Duta Richardo defeated compatriot Muhamad Yusuf 15-21, 21-18, 21-16. Christian Adinata defeated Dendi Triansyah 21-16, 21-15, and Bismo Raya Oktora defeated tenth seed Jelang Fajar 21-8, 21-13.
These four players ensured that Indonesia won the men's singles title.
