"We have coordinated this with cellular operators. These are mostly BTS installations owned by cellular operators. So, we ask them to continue monitoring and make immediate repairs," said Meutya at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Thursday.
He said that in addition to monitoring and making repairs, cellular operators had also been asked to provide information to the public regarding points experiencing disruptions.
Through the official website of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, he said, his party has displayed a list of BTS locations that are affected based on reports from operators.
He also asked cellular service providers to be more proactive in providing information to users if there are disruptions to their networks.
