Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir said the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) and the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) have agreed to end the dual leadership of a number of sports federations in the country."Thank God, KONI and KOI have agreed to resolve the dualism (in a number of sports)," said Erick Thohir in a press conference in Jakarta on Friday, attended by KONI Chairman Marciano Norman and KOI Secretary General Wijaya Mithuna Noeradi.
He conveyed this in relation to developments in resolving the issue of dualism in the management of a number of sports branches such as table tennis, fencing, boxing, equestrianism, and sepak takraw.
