The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) is striving to build a competitive and inclusive digital ecosystem, which provides opportunities for every talent to grow, innovate, and contribute to improving Indonesia's digital economy.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria, after reviewing the implementation of the Apple Developer Academy program in Badung, Bali, Friday (31/10), conveyed the importance of cross-sector collaboration in efforts to create a competitive and sustainable national digital ecosystem.
"Collaboration is one of the key words we're discussing here. All of these are points where we can collaborate to strengthen our digital ecosystem and increase the digital talent we need," he said, as quoted in a ministry press release on Saturday.
Nezar highlighted the potential for collaboration between the Ministry of Communication and Digital and Apple through programs such as the AI Talent Factory in Malang and Garuda Spark, which is managed by the Directorate General of Digital Ecosystems.
"These programs can be interconnected. We want to create a tiered pathway for digital talent development, from local to global," said Nezar.
