The Director General of Public Communication and Media at the Ministry of Communication and Digital , Fifi Aleyda Yahya, explained three pillars that society must strengthen to help create a healthy digital space.
First, the ability to narrate, write, and deliver relevant, ethical, and meaningful public messages. Second, digital communicative competence, managing messages, context, and consequences in open spaces ( digital communicative competence ).
"The three trusted sources prioritize verification of primary sources (A1) to increase the credibility of the information," Fifi said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital presents the Indonesia.go.id portal as a credible reference, amidst the flood of information.
Fifi explained that the portal not only presents official government information but also carries out the function of accurate and contextual government journalism.
Indonesia.go.id is designed to be a primary resource for the public and media, as well as a tool to suppress the spread of disinformation.
