The WBO world title underwent a major change after the event in Riyadh  The World Boxing Organization (WBO) stated that the organization's world championship titles underwent major changes after the "Night of Champions" event at the ANB Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


Based on the WBO report on its official website monitored in Jakarta, Tuesday, changes in world championship titles occurred in the welterweight (66.6 kg), lightweight (61.2 kg), and super flyweight (52.1 kg) divisions.


In the welterweight division, undefeated Devin Haney captured the WBO welterweight world title by defeating Brian Norman Jr. via unanimous decision. The official scorecards read 114-113, 116-111, and 117-110 in favor of Haney.
