Two Palestinians, including a child, were killed by Israeli army fire near Jerusalem, and several others were injured in settler attacks in Hebron.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA quoted the Palestinian Red Crescent Society as saying that its teams dealt with two serious injuries from live ammunition during the raid by the occupation forces on Kafr Aqab, and that they were transferred to the hospital.

The agency added that later, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the boy Amr Khaled Ahmed Al-Marbou (18 years old) and the child Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashayekh (16 years old), who were injured by the occupation’s bullets.

She noted that Israeli forces "stormed Kafr Aqab, deployed foot patrols in its streets, and their snipers climbed onto the roofs of several buildings and opened fire on the young men in the town, which led to the martyrdom of the two boys, Marbou and Mashayekh."

Meanwhile, on Thursday evening, a number of Palestinians were injured, suffering wounds and bruises, in an attack by settlers on Khirbet al-Markaz, south of Hebron.

Wafa quoted activist Osama Makhamra as saying that a group of armed settlers attacked the homes of citizens in Khirbet al-Markaz in Masafer Yatta, and assaulted the citizens with stones and clubs, which led to injuries to citizen Youssef Makhamra and his son Muhammad in the head and face, and others with bruises and contusions, in addition to breaking windows and the contents of some homes.

In a related incident, settlers set fire to a vehicle scrap yard in the town of Huwara, south of Nablus, on Thursday evening. Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of settlers from the Yitzhar settlement attacked the northern part of the town and torched the scrap yard.

Later, the Palestinian Civil Defense announced that its crews, with the participation of a crew from the Nablus Municipality Fire Department and the Awarta volunteer group, were able to control the fire that affected dozens of vehicles inside the scrap yard.

According to the Palestinian government's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers committed 7,154 attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank during the two years of Israel's war of extermination on Gaza.

These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of 33 Palestinians and the displacement of 33 population centers up to October 5th of last year.

Attacks by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of at least 1,076 Palestinians and injuries to approximately 10,760 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 20,500 since the start of the two-year Israeli offensive in Gaza, according to Palestinian data.

The ceasefire agreement of October 10 ended the war of extermination on Gaza, which left more than 69,000 Palestinian martyrs and more than 170,000 wounded, most of them children AND women, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
