Arne Slot was both frustrated and satisfied with Liverpool's performance

Liverpool manager Arne Slot admitted he was both frustrated and satisfied with his team's performance in their 1-1 draw with Sunderland in the Premier League on Thursday morning WIB.

"Both (frustration and satisfaction). I knew before the match, when I played against Sunderland, that in their 14 matches, they've only conceded more than one goal four times, and in those four matches, they've only conceded two goals," Slot said, as quoted on Liverpool's official website on Thursday.

"In recent games, we've struggled to equalize despite having chances. Today, we were a bit lucky to score 1-1 because it was a deflection. For me, it was different because it was a shot from 8-10 meters, so it was at least a serious chance. A shot from 20 meters isn't a serious chance; it's a chance, but not a big one. So, yes, I'm a little satisfied and a little frustrated," he said.

In the match against Sunderland, the visitors took the lead through Chemsdine Talbi's goal in the 67th minute, before Nordi Mukiele's own goal in the 81st minute secured a draw for Liverpool.
