The 2025 EuroLeague Women's competition calendar features many outstanding individual performances, and basketball player Brionna Jones, of ZVVZ USK Praha, is a strong contender for the best player award.
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) website reported Friday that, in addition to Jones, four other top players are also on the list of candidates for the 2025 EuroLeague Women's Best Performance award, which can be selected through a fan poll.
According to EuroLeague statistics, Jones recorded an efficiency (EFF) of 39 points when he led Prague to defeat Basket Landes 72-68 in the quarterfinal play-in match, on February 19, 2025.
He recorded 31 points and 16 rebounds in a crucial game that laid the foundation for Prague's title success. His consistent and outstanding performance in every game was a strong factor in his individual success this year.
Following in second place is Iliana Rupert, who plays for CIMSA CBK Mersin. On January 15, 2025, Rupert scored a personal-record 34 points as Mersin defeated Perfumerias Avenida 79-62.
He finished with an EFF of 39, 71 percent shooting accuracy, six rebounds , four steals , and two blocks. These contributions helped Mersin advance to the Final Six and appear in the final.
Then, the third player is Mariam Coulibaly from Spar Girona.
He was also nominated after a dominant performance on December 17, 2025, against Flammes Carolo Basket. Coulibaly scored 34 points and 14 rebounds with an EFF of 39, helping Girona to a crucial 83-68 victory and maintaining the team's consistent performance throughout the season.
From Spain, Kayla Alexander, who plays for Valencia Basket Club, put on an impressive performance on November 26, 2025. She had 26 points, 11 rebounds , and an EFF of 38 with a shooting percentage of 82 percent, when Valencia won 81-58 against DVTK Huntherm.
The final name to complete the list of candidates is Jessica Shepard of Beretta Famila Schio.
Shepard posted 22 points, 15 rebounds , and an EFF of 36 against Flammes Carolo Basket.
