Brunson and Jackson Jr. are NBA Players of the Week Nine  New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson and Memphis Grizzlies forward - center Jaren Jackson Jr. were named NBA Players of the Week Nine for the 2025-2026 season.

The NBA announced on Tuesday that Brunson won the Eastern Conference's Most Valuable Player award after consistently leading the Knicks in a number of key games.

The 29-year-old averaged 31.3 points per game (ppg), 5.3 rebounds per game (rpg), and eight assists per game (apg) throughout the week.

Brunson's impressive performance also helped the Knicks maintain a competitive position in the Eastern Conference standings.

This is Brunson's second such award this season, having previously received the same honor in Week 6. His significant contributions as an offensive engine have made the big man a key figure in the Knicks' game.
