Celta Vigo were held to a goalless draw by Oviedo

  Celta Vigo, seventh in the league, could only manage a goalless draw when they were hosted by bottom-of-the-table Real Oviedo at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere in Oviedo.

The result ended Celta Vigo's two-game winning streak in La Liga, despite losing 0-3 on penalties to Albacete in the last 32 of the Spanish King's Cup.

Meanwhile, for Oviedo, the result hasn't brought them any closer to safety. Oviedo currently sits in 19th place with 11 points, just one point ahead of bottom-placed Levante.

Levante also failed to secure a win this weekend. Hosting 15th-placed Real Sociedad, they conceded first to Takefusa Kubo in the 45+1 minute, but Levante equalized at 1-1 thanks to an Adrian de la Fuente penalty in the 90+4 minute.
