Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital (Wamenkomdigi) Nezar Patria said that several disaster-affected areas in Aceh Province received free Starlink satellite internet service for one month."Based on Starlink's announcement, disaster-stricken areas in Aceh will be provided with free internet for one month," Nezar said when met in South Jakarta on Wednesday.
Nezar explained that the free internet service program is a company policy aimed at helping disaster-affected areas.
"So, it's not just in Aceh or Sumatra, but almost everywhere in the world. Wherever Starlink is available, they always provide this kind of assistance, free for one month," he said.
