Los Angeles Lakers' Luka Doncic and New York Knicks' Jalen Brunson were named the NBA's Most Valuable Player of the Week Six for the 2025-2026 season, following impressive performances for their respective Western and Eastern Conference clubs.
The NBA website stated on Tuesday that Doncic won the Western Conference award after posting an impressive performance throughout the week, averaging 37.3 points per game (ppg), 8.7 rebounds per game (rpg), and 10.3 assists per game (apg).
This performance solidified his status as the driving force behind the Lakers' offense, as they strive to maintain their position at the top of the conference standings. Doncic's effectiveness in organizing the offense and his scoring prowess were key factors in the Lakers' key wins last week.
Meanwhile, in the Eastern Conference, Brunson stood out and led the Knicks through a solid week.
