"I don't want to be obsessed with career statistics," Marquez said at an Estrella Galicia event, quoted by Crash in Jakarta, Tuesday.
"But that decline will come when my results decline," he said again.
The 32-year-old rider was dominant throughout the 2025 season, winning 11 grand prix races and 14 sprint races. This record propelled him to his seventh premier class world title, his first since a serious arm injury in 2020 that kept him out of most races.
Marquez secured the title with five races remaining after scoring 37 points in seven consecutive weekends, from Aragon to Hungary. Despite missing the final four races due to an injury sustained at the Indonesian MotoGP in Mandalika, he still finished the season with a 78-point lead over second-placed Marc Marquez.
