Former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil has complied with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summons in the investigation into the alleged corruption case involving an advertising procurement project at the West Java and Banten Regional Development Bank (Bank BJB) for the 2021-2023 period.
"Yes, in essence, I am here today to show my highest respect for the rule of law. Therefore, I came here for the sake of transparency and to fulfill my accountability obligations as a former public official," said Ridwan Kamil upon arriving at the KPK's Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Based on reports from reporters in the field, Ridwan Kamil arrived at 10:40 WIB and was accompanied by a number of lawyers.
Furthermore, Ridwan Kamil admitted that he was happy to be summoned by the Corruption Eradication Committee because he could provide clarification.
"Without clarification, perceptions are wild. That's roughly how it is, and it can be detrimental," he said.
Therefore, he hopes that the clarification given to the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) can provide information for the investigation needs of the Bank BJB case.
"I am ready and support the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) in providing as much information as possible regarding the case at BJB," he said.
In the alleged corruption case of Bank BJB, KPK investigators have named five suspects on March 13, 2025, namely Bank BJB President Director Yuddy Renaldi (YR) and Commitment Making Officer (PPK) and Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of Bank BJB Widi Hartoto (WH).
In addition, the Controller of the Antedja Muliatama Agency and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri Ikin Asikin Dulmanan (IAD), the Controller of the BSC Advertising Agency and Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspress Suhendrik (SUH), and the Controller of the Cipta Karya Sukses Agency with Sophan Jaya Kusuma (SJK).
