ASUS Indonesia has confirmed that there will be price adjustments for a number of its devices, especially in the consumer segment , in 2026, following the increase in global component prices, such as RAM, which has also impacted many other technology brands.
"Of course, if prices go up, they will. Consumers will definitely see an increase, because they can no longer afford cross-subsidies," said Aldy Ramadiansyah, Country Commercial Product Marketing Officer at ASUS Indonesia, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
ASUS Indonesia management stated that they are currently awaiting approval from headquarters regarding the official announcement of the price increase. However, ASUS has internally prepared a price adjustment plan.
"We are currently waiting and seeking advice from ASUS headquarters regarding price adjustments. We are also ready to make an announcement , but we are still awaiting approval from the headquarters, as other brands have already announced price changes," Aldy said.
Regarding the extent of the price increase for ASUS products, from cellphones to laptops, it has not been confirmed yet, but the company said the increase is in line with market trends that have already been implemented by a number of other brands.
