The home team didn't perform well in the first half. The visiting Persik team started the scoring with a header from Kiko in the 8th minute, following a corner kick taken by Ezra Walian.
After creating a chance, Ezra had his own. In the 17th minute, the Amsterdam-born Dutchman's deflected shot was saved by goalkeeper Igor Rodrigues.
