IBL introduces Junior Hoopers, a commitment to developing youth basketball  Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) President Director Junas Miradiarsyah stated that the recently introduced Junior Hoopers program demonstrates the commitment to developing youth basketball in Indonesia, ensuring smooth regeneration.

He explained that the program in collaboration with Blackmores was aimed at participants from various age groups (KU), namely KU-10 Mix (mixed), KU-12 Boys, KU-12 Girls, KU-14 Girls, and KU-15 Boys.

"We want to ensure that children receive proper, structured, and enjoyable training," Junas said in Jakarta on Sunday.

He further explained that the collaboration with other parties provides a more comprehensive coaching approach, focusing not only on technique and physical fitness, but also on health education, active lifestyles, and character building.

According to him, these efforts are expected to produce a new generation of competitive Indonesian basketball athletes in the future.

Junas added that the Junior Hoopers program combines basic technique training, motor development, understanding game concepts, and game-based activities to maintain participant enthusiasm. This method is designed to allow children to learn while still having fun while practicing.
