In athletics, Indonesia won nine gold medals, five silver medals, and six bronze medals.
"Alhamdulillah, the achievements of these Jakarta athletes are the result of coaching supported by KONI DKI Jakarta, both in terms of funding and mentoring," said Mustara Musa, Chairman of the Provincial Board of the All-Indonesia Athletics Association (PASI) DKI Jakarta in an official statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.
At the 2025 SEA Games, 30 athletes will strengthen the Indonesian national athletics team, 10 of whom are from DKI Jakarta.
