The Chef de Mission of the Indonesian contingent for the 2025 SEA Games Thailand, Bayu Priawan Dkokosoetono, expressed his gratitude for carrying out his responsibilities well.
"The SEA Games went well from the opening on December 9th until Saturday, especially considering the many dynamics that occurred there," Bayu said in Jakarta on Wednesday.
"We from the CDM team have carried out our duties to the best of our ability to ensure the Indonesian team achieves its best performance at the SEA Games," he continued.
Bayu revealed that he had been ill while in Thailand, but was able to receive immediate treatment to continue carrying out his duties.
"I was sick there for a day yesterday. If it weren't for the medical team, I could have been hospitalized for a week. But with the extraordinary support from all parties, and the excellent medication, I ended up not needing to be hospitalized. I only had to rest in bed for a day," he continued.
