"There's the sensation of running along the beach, without feeling the traffic congestion in Kuta," said Emmy Kalsum, Chair of the Kuta Run 2026 Committee in Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, on Tuesday.
The running race will be held on January 25, 2026 starting at 04.00 WITA through famous tourist spots in Bali, namely Kuta Village, Seminyak and Legian.
He explained that his party had received a recommendation from the management of the All-Indonesia Athletics Association (PASI) Bali to hold the first running competition combined with cultural and environmental conservation events in Kuta.
To prepare for the event, his party has conducted a test run of the track by PASI Bali athletes on the main roads in the three tourist villages.
The event has also received the green light from the police, the Department of Transportation and the local village government.
