LG introduced its latest line of UltraGear evo gaming monitors ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 technology exhibition, featuring visual displays up to 5K resolution and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve image quality directly on the device.
As reported by Engadget on Monday, LG stated that the AI upscaling technology embedded in this monitor can help reduce the workload on the graphics card (GPU).
This eliminates the need for users to upgrade their GPU. This is considered relevant amidst the rising GPU price trend due to the growing need for AI development.
There are currently three models introduced in the UltraGear evo line, with plans to add more models in the future.
The first model is the 39-inch UltraGear evo OLED (39GX950B), which boasts 5K resolution and AI-based visual enhancement. This monitor features a curved OLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and an ultra-fast response time of 0.03 milliseconds.
