Indonesian national team goalkeeper Maarten Paes has denied rumors that he will leave Major League Soccer club FC Dallas during this winter's transfer window.
Paes reminded fans not to swallow the news circulating about his future.
"Don't believe everything you read in the news! I've been reading a lot of rumors the past few days, and honestly, I don't know where they come from," Paes wrote, as quoted by X on Friday.
Previously, Paes was widely reported to be approaching Persib Bandung after his contract in the United States ended.
Maung Bandung also expressed interest in bringing in the former FC Utrecht goalkeeper.
However, Persib has not yet made a concrete offer to bring Paes to Bandung.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper has dismissed rumours of a move and is currently enjoying a holiday in Asia.
"Right now, I'm working hard during the off-season and enjoying my vacation in Asia. Thank you for your understanding," Paes wrote.
It is noted that Paes currently still has a contract with FC Dallas until December 31, 2026.
