Meta is pushing for the democratization of artificial intelligence (AI) through the development of technology that is safer, more transparent, and more accessible to all users.
"Technology shouldn't be limited to a select few. AI should be accessible to everyone, and Meta AI's distribution, which has surpassed 1 billion users, demonstrates that," said Pieter Lydian, Meta's Country Director for Indonesia, in a presentation on Meta AI's technological developments held.
Pieter revealed that Meta has recorded more than 1 billion monthly active users of Meta AI as part of the Meta application ecosystem which houses 3.4 billion global users from Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
