Minister Bahlil: Pertamina is trying to bring fuel into Sibolga Port, North Sumatra.

The Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga will try to import fuel oil (BBM) into Sibolga Port, North Sumatra.

Because, Bahlil continued, it has been quite difficult for fuel-carrying ships to dock at Sibolga Port due to the impact of the flash floods and landslides that have hit the North Sumatra region since.

"We'll try to get fuel flowing starting tonight. So far, it's been going to Tapteng  due to road issues. But tonight, we'll figure out how to get fuel flowing to Sibolga Port here," Bahlil said in a written statement in Medan.

The Minister asked Pertamina Patra Niaga to activate five petrol stations and operate them 24 hours a day.
