hazardous facilities and medical institutions , and it can perform guard duties, according to Salam Mohammed , a researcher in the university's Department of Systematic Programming.
"There are no similar inventions to ours in Russia yet. The robot was assembled entirely from local components, and its interface was designed in both Russian and English. Its unique importance lies in the fact that it is trained to navigate in space without an internet connection or satellite navigation systems, thanks to its synchronization with three-dimensional mathematical maps."
The researcher explained that the unique SPPA program was designed specifically for the robot, and is responsible for modeling the robot's movement in a limited area, allowing it to 'think'.
"The robot remembers the way back and all the obstacles in its path. At traffic lights, it calculates the time needed to cross the pedestrian crossing like a human, and makes the decision to move immediately while adjusting the speed."
The robot is controlled via computer without human intervention, but its functions and tasks can be manually controlled via smartphone, even from another country. It can also be voice-activated, always ready to communicate with its owner and receive new commands.
The researcher pointed out that the robot is capable of performing multiple tasks :
Working as a medical messenger or home caretaker .
Exploring dangerous areas and mines .
Accurate object recognition thanks to the built-in camera.
Distinguishing between people even when their faces are covered using a thermal imaging camera.
Monitoring noise and smells to prevent emergencies in the assigned location.
The university explained that the development is ready for production , and they are currently looking for an industrial partner to manufacture the robot on a large scale.
